What is remote help?
- Remote help allows us to share your screen from our office to show you how to do things or fix any problems you may have.
- If you have a headset or are working on a laptop both parties can talk without the need of a telephone. (not a requirement)
- We can transfer files from Wintech to your computer.
- Chat on line (similar to Messenger)
- You can see presentations from our Wintech computer.

- Allows us to show you easier ways of working.
- We can make sure your computer is up to speed.
- Allows us to check your security software is working to its optimum.
- We can even remotely renew your Bullguard antivirus.

Remote Help criteria
Remote help is available when a technician is at Wintech during the working week between 9am and 6pm. There will be a few weeks during August and over the Christmas/New Year period when this service is not available due to holidays.
If we cannot take your call immediately we will call you back as soon as someone is available.

Free remote help with new PCs and laptops
We will supply up to 2 hours free remote help for 3 months from the purchase date of any new PC or laptop supplied by Wintech Computers.
Remote help costs
Pay-as-you-go
To benefit from Wintech remote help services on a Pay-As-You-Go basis, the charges are £36 per hour. The connection charge is £9, then the services are applied pro rata.

Cost £50
What it covers:
Up to 2 hours of remote online support (normally £36 per hour. See Criteria)
